Are you looking for something to do over the winter break of February 16th through February 20th ? We invite you to join us for the following activities at the Lewiston Public Library.

Movie buffs will enjoy our “Movie Marathon” on February 16th.. The first feature is “Night at the Museum” which will start at 10:30a.m followed by the second feature “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.” In between we will take a short break for Pizza. Admission is free and open to the public but reservations are requested so we can make sure there is enough pizza for everyone.

On Wednesday, February 17th from at 3:00p.m. to 4:30p.m. we will hold our “Snow Party.” There will be games, crafts, food and fun for children of all ages.

The NY State Parks Department will present “Nature in Winter” on Thursday, February 18th at 3:00p.m.. Join us to learn what animals do to survive throughout the winter- hibernation, migration and adaptation. The program is open to all, but is geared for children ages 5-10.

Have you ever made a snowman with colored water? If not, then consider joining us for “Snowman Making” on Friday, February 19th from 1:00p.m. until 4:00p.m. This activity is to be conducted outside if the weather permits. We will use spray bottles and colored water to make our snowmen on the snow. If there is no snow we will make snowmen out of Styrofoam balls inside.

On Saturday, February 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. we will hold our “Winter Craft Time.” Join us for a time of craft making with a winter theme. Please dress in play clothes as some of our crafts are messy.

As always, our programs are free and open to the public. Please call Miss Ann at 754-4720 or feel free to stop by to register. The Library is located at 305 South Eighth Street in the Village of Lewiston.
