Adopt-A-Shelf in the Children’s Room!

This year we are continuing our Adopt-A-Shelf program in the John B. Daly Children’s Room. We need volunteers to help keep the picture books looking nice and neat. We ask that you come once a week and straighten your adopted shelf. You would make sure the books are alphabetized by author’s last name and give any dirty/torn books to us to clean and mend. Each shelf is about 3 feet long and would take 15-30 minutes to straighten. Volunteers may commit to a 3, 6, or 9 month period. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the library that provides so much for the children of Lewiston.
