Wanted: Old yearbooks, phone books and directories

Do you have any old local yearbooks or phone books collecting dust in your attic?  Does grandma?  Put them to good use by donating them to the Lewiston Public Library.  Please help us build up our resources for our Genealogy and Local History Collections!   Many researchers find these items to be of extreme value to their family history research.  Imagine finding an actual photo of great grandpa as captain of the football team?  Phone books and directories are also amazing tools as they place a family in a definite location during a specific time period. 

Please help us if you can!  Come in and enjoy the old yearbooks and directories that we do have.  I especially like the Niagara Falls High School yearbooks from the 1930’s.  (And don’t worry if your copies are signed!  That makes them even more exciting!)
